Biography

Dr.Gibson is the Libro Professor in Regional Economic Development in the School of Environmental Design and Rural Development at the University of Guelph. His research and community engagement focus on rural and regional development, governance, philanthropy, and public policy. He is engaged with the rural grantmakers thematic team within the SSHRC Partnership Grant.

Ryan is the Past President of the Canadian Rural Revitalization Foundation.
