Description of the organization
PFC is a national membership association for grantmakers and organized philanthropy. We are based in Montreal and have 140 members, including private foundations, public foundations, corporate community investment programs, and charities that function as grantmakers. Our mission is to advocate for the philanthropic sector and to support the development of effective and responsible philanthropic foundations.
Partnership with PhiLab
PFC has been a major partner of the PhiLab for the last five years and continues to provide financial support, staff support, coordination and liaison with the foundation community in support of the critical research being conducted on the role of grantmaking foundations in Canada today.
