Stéphane Pisani

Biography

Stéphane Pisani is a Ph.D. student in Management at the Faculty of Administrative Science at Université de Laval in Québec. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Université du Québec en Outaouais, by accumulating certificates (Management, Industrial relations & Human Resources, and Environment) as well as a Masters in Management from Université de Laval, the field research of which was done in Copenhagen over a one-year period among Danish consulting firms and their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) consultants. His Ph.D. thesis covers the question of the renewed focus on emancipation within alternative organizations in the fight against social, environmental, and epistemic injustices in the face of the Anthropocene’s current issues.

Stéphane is also a research assistant for a case study on the Regroupement pour la responsabilité sociale des entreprises (RRSE), pioneers in responsible shareholding in Quebec. He is a student of the Center for research on social innovations (CRISES) and the student representative of their Quebec Hub.
