Biographie
I am a recent graduate from the University of Regina Faculty of Arts where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (Honours) with a second major in Sociology. I performed my undergraduate honours thesis on: The Impact of Induced Guilt on Self-Reported Self-Compassion and Self-Criticism, under the supervision of Dr. Donald Sharpe. I competed on the varsity track team during 5 of my 6 years of school with a year off due to injury. I am currently pursuing a future in counselling psychology and am hoping to attend graduate school within the next couple years. I am very passionate about issues of gender and sexuality and wish to specialize in that area of counselling though my research interests are broader. I volunteer with two counsellors, doing odd jobs for each (e.g., filing, contact information, brochures) and am hoping to expand on my experiences despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
